Eugene Handler is the boss of a washing machine company where Nevo works while he lives in the bland world.

The boss comes over to Nevo's house for a dinner party which could earn Nevo a promotion. There is a lot of noise upstairs and Nevo starts acting very shifty and runs upstairs. The boss follows him and then the Richard Welford Device in Nevo's room somehow gets activated and the house gets teleported. Handler is seen blown up during the journey and is never seen again. He is presumed dead.
